The DJ or Band must communicate any special requirements for services to the file manager two (2) weeks prior to the event. A fact sheet will be provided to all clients having entertainment in the facility.
The Centre can provide electrical services up to and including 30 amps. Additional power requirements are by special arrangements only.
The Centre is not responsible to provide extension cords, power bars, etc.
The use of fog and/or smoke machines, pyrotechnics, etc. is by special arrangement only.
Lighting Systems must be free standing.
These guidelines must be forwarded to the client and/or the entertainment provider.
| All outside service providers, for example, decorators, florists, wedding cake and ice carving suppliers, are responsible for providing all their own operating equipment. |
The use of Posters and/or Banners

PLEASE NOTE: The Centre does not allow items/material to be affixed on any painted or vinyl surface. Nails, Tacks, Pins, Staples, Transparent Tape, Masking Tape, Duct Tape and/or Double Sided Tape are NOT allowed on any surface area.
The above restrictions apply to all decorators and/or service providers.
Open flames are not permitted i.e. candles, unless they are covered by a Hurricane Glass. Floating or Votive Candles are acceptable.
Decorators/Bands/DJ's/Photographers/Videographers are to provide their own equipment i.e. extension cords, ladders, etc.
All banners/posters, etc. must be hung by Centre personnel at a labour charge of $31.50 per hour. A minimum charge of $16.00 will apply for services rendered.
These policies are determined by the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Homemade Wine: (Weddings Only) when serving homemade wine, client must apply for a Special Occasion Permit. During the service of the homemade wine, the Centre bar must close. Two Liquor Licenses cannot operate simultaneously. Homemade wine must be removed from tables in order to reopen the Centre bar.
Sponsored Wine/Liquor: Any sponsored wine/liquor cannot be served without a Special Occasion Permit and products must be purchased through a Canadian Government regulated outlet. Same serving policy applies as Homemade Wine.
Special Labelled Wine: Any special labelled wine that is not physically purchased by the Centre International Centre under our Permit Liquor License will require a Special Occasion Permit in order to serve the wine. Same serving policy applies as Homemade Wine.
Favours, Door Prizes, Giveaways: Any favours, door prizes, giveaways that are alcoholic in nature i.e. wine/champagne favours, mini liquor bottles, etc. cannot be present or distributed within the facility. A Special Occasion Permit cannot be acquired. Liquor Licenses are for service and consumption which does not apply in this case.
